Oval Olive Wood Serving Platter

A large serving platter made from a single piece of Tunisian olive wood, worked by hand. The organic, free-form outline with its natural live edge follows the growth of the wood; the gently dished surface reveals spectacular symmetric burl grain in warm honey tones, matte-oiled.

Olive wood is a natural product: the shape, outline and grain differ from piece to piece — your platter won't be an exact match to the one pictured, but it equals it in character and quality. Perfect for cheese, bread, antipasti and mezze, or as a decorative piece. Available in two sizes (approx. 35 and 40 cm). Hand-oiled rather than lacquered — wipe clean, keep out of the dishwasher, re-oil now and then. Handmade in Tunisia.
