A city, a land full of olive trees.
Carthage was the ancient trading city in what is now Tunisia — a land of old olive groves. That is where the wood that gives this shop its name comes from: densely grown, warm in the grain, matured over decades.
We don't make it ourselves. We select the pieces that are worthy of this origin.
Living grain.
Olive wood is hard, dense and naturally grained — every fibre runs differently. Oiled rather than lacquered, the surface stays alive and can be refreshed again and again over time.
