§ 1 Scope

The following General Terms and Conditions, in the version valid at the time of the order, apply to all orders placed through this online shop. The offer is directed at consumers (§ 13 BGB) and business customers (§ 14 BGB); individual provisions (in particular the right of withdrawal) apply only to consumers. The contract language is German.

§ 3 Conclusion of contract

The presentation of products in the online shop does not constitute a legally binding offer but an invitation to order. By clicking the order button you place a binding order for the goods in your cart. Receipt of your order is confirmed by email immediately after submission; this automatic acknowledgement of receipt does not yet constitute acceptance of the order. The purchase contract is only concluded once we accept your order by a separate order confirmation by email or by dispatching the goods.

§ 4 Prices and small-business scheme

All prices stated are final prices. Due to the small-business scheme under § 19 UStG, no value added tax is charged and therefore not shown separately. Shipping costs may apply in addition and are shown separately during checkout.

§ 5 Payment

Payment is made via the payment methods offered during checkout (e.g. Shopify Payments, PayPal, Klarna). The purchase price is due for payment upon conclusion of the contract, unless otherwise stated for the respective payment method.

§ 6 Delivery

Delivery takes place within Germany, usually via DHL. Delivery normally takes 3–5 business days. For engraved/personalised items, processing may take approximately one additional day. We deliver free of shipping costs on orders from €80; otherwise the shipping costs shown during checkout apply.

§ 7 Retention of title

The goods remain our property until full payment.

§ 8 Right of withdrawal

Consumers have a statutory right of withdrawal. Details can be found in our cancellation policy. The right of withdrawal does not apply to goods made to customer specifications or clearly tailored to personal needs (in particular engraved/personalised items), § 312g(2)(1) BGB. We point out this exclusion separately before the order is placed.

§ 9 Warranty

The statutory liability for defects applies. Olive wood is a natural product; variations in grain, colour, structure and form due to manufacturing and material are characteristic and do not constitute a defect.

§ 10 Storage of the contract text

We store the contract text and send you the order data by email. The applicable Terms and Conditions can be viewed and retrieved at any time on this page.

§ 11 Dispute resolution

We are neither willing nor obliged to participate in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board (§ 36 VSBG).

§ 12 Applicable law / final provisions

The law of the Federal Republic of Germany applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. Mandatory consumer protection provisions of the state in which the consumer has their habitual residence remain unaffected. Should any provision of these Terms be invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions remains unaffected.
